He attended Clemson University and was a veteran of World War II, a member of the Big Brothers, a member of Hartsville Masonic Lodge a former Boy Scout Leader, an Eagle Scout and past secretary of the Civitan Club. Mrs. Auerhamer died Monday, Nov. 3, 1997. Born in Lexington County, she was a daughter of the late Bennie O'Neal and Esther Davis Smith. She was a member of Wittenberg Lutheran Church, Circle Leesville-Batesburg American Legion Post 61 Auxiliary and Batesburg-Leesville Concerned Cancer Club.

She was married to the late Carl C. Auerhamer and was preceded in death by a brother, R.Z. Smith. Born in Darlington County, he was a son of the late James and Bessie Bell Bass Sr. He was a 1936 graduate of Clemson University and worked for Duke Power Company before entering the Army in 1940. She lived in Kalamazoo for more than 30 years. She was involved for many years as a volunteer for Girl Scouts, Meals-onWheels and Borgess Service League. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was united in marriage to John R. Brawley Oct.

Mr. Kimrey died Monday, Nov. 3, 1997, at his home. Born in Cheraw, he was a son of the late Stephen Henry and Ida Bright Rainwater Kimrey, and was married to the late Marian Davis Kimrey for nearly 60 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and Men's Bible Class.

He was a member of the Cash Hunting Club and the Irby Hunting Club. He was the magistrate of the Pee Dee Township, Chesterfield County, for 37 years. Surviving are son, Rufus R. Kimrey Jr. of Kinston, N.C.; daughter, Ida Mae Burch of Cheraw; brother, Robert Glenn Kimrey of Cheraw; granddaughter, Marian B.

Crawford of Cheraw; grandson, Joe Banks Burch Jr. of Cheraw; great-grandsons, Banks Burch, Stephen Crawford and Andrew Crawford, all of Cheraw; great-granddaughter, Sarah Crawford of Cheraw. He was preceded in death by brothers, Milton Leo Kimrey and Rev. T. Stephen Kimrey, and sisters, Sally Lowery, Addie Butler and Dorothy Kimrey.

He moved to Fountain Inn as a practicing physician in 1963. He was on the staff of Hillcrest Hospital, and was director of Fountain Inn Convalescent Home and Briarwood Nursing Home. He was a member of Greenville County Medical Society, SC Medical Association, American Medical Association and Trinity United Methodist Church.
